Lantern Walk 2020
Time & Location
About the Event
It's the time of the year again... Our Lantern Walk is back.
We are looking forward to our annual Lantern Walk on 11th November. All are welcome! Due to the new covid restrictions we need to ask your support in helping us make it safe for everyone.
We are also looking for musical talents that help us create a greater experience. Anyone that is confident to play the lantern walk song on their guitar or other instruments for us during the walk please get in touch. We will sing our lantern song - first verse only: https://youtu.be/jqHyRzms3eE
If you would like to help us organising our crowd on the day, please also get in touch.
- If you plan to come, for track and trace purposes please get in touch by latest 10th November at 4pm and give us the name and phone number of just ONE person in your household. Please note that if you don’t do this we won’t be permitted to let you join the event, so it’s better to do even if you’re not certain about attending.
- The role of the adults will be to line the path walked by the children. We will guide you to your position where you shall be requested to stay for the duration of the walk, holding a lantern up to light the path for the children. We would also love it if you sing our lantern song! See link.
- The children will have their own lanterns and walk the route in groups led by us. If a child prefers to stay with their parents that is fine also.
- Please remember to social distance at all times to ensure everyones safety.
